Driversports.org announces iRacing League formation!
With the release of the most recent build, iRacing has incorporated League support with statistical and point tracking for leagues to host their own championship series, independent of the 'Official' series'. Forgetful (Stephen Warcup) established the league this evening and we've been a'tinkerin'.

Stay tuned for news on upcoming events! Preliminary plans are to focus events on the content which is freely available to all subscribers. Any events which require any paid content will be posted well in advance in order to give people time to budget purchases.

Re: Driversports.org announces iRacing League formation!
With summer coming to an end and everyone getting up to speed with iRacing we'll be getting back to hosting events. We've been discussing this in the admin area, we have some ideas, and now we want your feedback.
Going forward we'd like to integrate the official iRacing events in to our organized schedule to make our races relevant and dynamic. Once a week we'll all enter in to the same official race and flood the server with DriverSports competitors.
We will also resume hosting private races with the league hosting tools. These events will mimic the official event that we crash with the same car and track. We'll likely run this earlier in the week to use it as prep for the official event.
The best candidate for this would be the Solstice in the inRacing News Challenge. It's a 12 week, multi-class series withh the MX-5, run completely on base content tracks.
So, what nights of the week would people like to have these races on? Obviously the ~9 pm eastern start time is the best all around start time, so we'll aim for that. I'm preferable to a Tuesday private race and Saturday official event.

Sweeet . Weekdays I don't have much of a preference. As to the weekends, Saturday is cool, with Sunday being a really close second. With start times varying on the iracing servers (ie not exactly 9), would the official event typically be 9 PM EST or later? Thinking of a hypothetical like a 8:30 or 10:30 start time choice on the servers.

iRNC is on the :30s isn't it? They are short-ish races though...

Yeah, most of them are ~25 minutes, ~30 with the 5 min warmup

I wasn't sure it stayed on :30's through the whole series. So I'll just plan on both
