Re: iRacing General Discussion
Gonna be the V8SC for me this season. Just love the sound and challenge it gives, but how the top guys drive it that quick so consistently is beyond me! I also still don't know how to find the extra 1s in Quali' trim over Race trim, but that's why I'm going to concentrate solely on it for a full season and see where we get to.
I'm sure I'll throw a few races in here and there with other car/track combos, but it will be just for fun.
Wonder how low my iRating will end up after this season, lol!

iRacing has the Black Friday deal again. Between 11/25 and 12/02 you can sign up/renew for 12 months for $49. Use promo code PR-BF2013.

I can't wait

Pretty clear now what I do after the Skippy; I only hope that the car gets a decent schedule.

Indeed.
Wiki says it's based on the 997 911, weighs about 1500kg, and starts with 530hp.

RUF forums on iRacing are ablaze with people getting out the pitchforks because of how easy it is to roll the RUF over in a tight corner. I bought before I read the forums...
Was not disappointed.

It's good eh, are all three models fun? It looks like a street car, the race version, and a nutso turbo model?
I may be tempted but GT6 has my attention right now and it's already paid for. The $11 may make me wait a bit until I'm back in iRacing full time again.

^ WAT? LOL. There must be some kind of fix or patch for that. I can see that being very frustrating if it happened on the last lap of a race while you were leading with zero incidents.

... and here's the next track on which GT3s will go as fast as real-life DPs and DPs will go as fast as real-life LMPs which go as fast in the game as real-life F1s ...
