The Official Non Sequitur Thread, "And now for something COMPLETELY different..."
I have seen people score less than 128 on Fruit Ninja...

Of course
Re: The Official Non Sequitur Thread, "And now for something COMPLETELY different..."
I posted this on PSN earlier today in response to people complaining about the new tire wear among other things. Some of you might get a chuckle out of it.
Basically you can blame the equipment you've got, game physics, new tire wear, old tire wear or whatever else annoys you about the game as a way to make yourself feel batter about driving badly (ie: sucking) either by choice or lack of skill ... or you can learn to deal with the conditions everyone has by improving. I assure you that posting doesn't make you any damn faster under any circumstances.

Well said
So... people are complaining about how softer compounds degrade faster than harder ones now? I ... I mean maybe I am just in the minority here, but when I start to do something, I learn as much about it as possible, what on what possible grounds could this be a bad thing? I mean other than possible "It's great this is a feature, now lets try and get it closer to reality."
Why buy GT5 if you don't want that? Why not Shift 2?
Then again, why am I surprised when I'd read the same things on Flight Sim forums, and that hobby is even more obscure... "The _______ sucks now because when I pull all the way back on the stick as hard as I can, it spins! This game sucks! People who like this game suck! People who suck, suck even more! I don't suck, clearly, because I am here to whine about things like this as a service to YOU, to help you suck less!"

LOL Wall, yeah that's us buddy. Race Rooms are for us. I have a few friends who aren't GT5 guys but play other games who use my server, and my Dad will be on there from time to time playing various games. I need to get him a PS3 and GT5 one of these days, he'd love every second of it. He used to drive Formula Fords back in "the day".

Very gud. I know that XBox Live support will refer people to that site for NAT issues resulting from their router. So yeah, a very good resource.

More proof to support my theory that PD makes more money doing sim and design work for the auto industry than they do making video games.

Erm.. What?
According to Google Translator:
"Gran Turismo 5" for "Gran Turismo TV" in "ACURA NSX CONCEPT" was released movies for free images. January 09, 2012, the North American Auto Show (aka Detroit show) was published in "ACURA NSX CONCEPT" is a movie image.

I was thinking that the track in the video could be Seattle, but it's not.

You better get a cushion too, if you're going to use that as a daily driver. That suspension will be rock hard. Unless you mean you're only getting the wheel. In which case, awesome.
Edit: great minds...
Re: The Official Non Sequitur Thread, "And now for something COMPLETELY different..."
I didn't read the fine print, but I just assume the car comes with the wheel. If not iz gonna be real mad

Why would you want a car that is sitting in your driveway, every day, plotting to kill you?
That wheel looks like the hotness though, one day I will upgrade my DFGT.
Re: The Official Non Sequitur Thread, "And now for something COMPLETELY different..."
Well, the GT3RS is a great deal right now. I got the Clubsport pack which includes the clubsport pedals for 329.99. Considering the pedals cost 199.99 themselves, I'd say I did alright.
The only way the GT3RS differs from the GT2 is that it doesn't have the xbox wireless connection built in and it doesn't have the backlit buttons. Same belt and motor system, rim, alcantara, built-in programming, everything. Those minor differences are apparently worth 170.00.
If you're a PS3 and maybe a PC racer, but have no interest in the hexbox, then this is a smokin deal.
