I was going to start the framework of the 2014 F1 thread when...
... the FIA and FOCA announced today that the final race of the season will award double points.
I'm out.

So are you IN to anything as a replacement?
-Loeb in WTCC (touring cars being the home of weirdo rules)
-WEC (Webber losing at a new thing)
-IMSA Tudor sportscar grand-am-a-palooza (got a big field apparently)
?

IndyCar sort of stole my heart last year with the road races that I watched. The Street Circuits in Indy don't have the same je ne sais quoi of Singapore and Monaco but they aren't awful. Long Beach and Brazil are quite good. Ovals are not by thing but I can respect Indy and they're pretty few and far between anyway these days.
WEC I'll need to check out, WTCC is interesting me more. It's funny, I started to find the idea of driving road cars as race cars far more interesting once I started driving a real car.
IMSA you say...
And of course, if we can get footage of anything John's running in his Miata, I'm down to watch that too.
Bottom line, I want to watch the SPORT of racing, not some WWF (WWE for the kids today...) bull:bleep:.
