OP when you add him to the board, combine the three of us into one car (I'm on with R.S. in the car name about 1 sec behind Rooster who has slightly incorrect 'RS' in the car name)

Interestingly, the hybrid-interplay gauges that appeared on the HUD in GT5 are missing in 6, but the hybrid stuff still works on the car - significant lack of straight-line speed on lap 2 compared to lap 1 ghost is a good indication that the battery depletes.

Useful STD car, dark paint job helps hide the jaggedy wheel wells. I was ahead of my Genesis Coupe ghost until the end of the straightaway, when I effectively got in my own way into the final section.
If those are custom wheels, then you had less rear grip than it came with (which may be why that time is farther-than-usual away from the 7:46.327 by pinkertonpunk):
