That seems more like a sports-hard time (half-minute faster than two other guys in the same car), you sure about the tires you had?

Also, an oddity from the leaderboard;
Dodge Challenger SRT8 '11 7:58.157 The_Revengel

Car doesn't exist. Either it's a Charger '11 or a Challenger '08.

Yes, I am sure of the tires I had. I have the replay saved. Not sure how to upload it though!

Uploading a replay:

Go to the Gallery, find the desired replay, press 'X' and choose 'Export Replay'

This will send the replay file out to the 'Game Save' folder on the XMB (outside of the game). Once the file is there you can copy it to a USB drive.

On the drive will be folders PS3>SAVEDATA>BCJS37016-RPLY009. Take the BCJS folder and zip it, then upload that zip file. Most of us use Google Drive for stuff like that.

If you upload it I'll record it and post it to our Youtube page. Smile

Welcome aboard and happy wheelin'.

Yes, the S206 meets the criteria. Very limited, but production, street legal and sold to people.

Jeez, a world-famous author like yourself should be able to spell 'Mountain Green' better; you only got about half the letters.

Exactly .2 slower than my run in the '06 model, so essentially identical (yet not). I noticed without comparing stats/settings between the 2 models before the run that the 2005 felt less planted/more "jittery" than I remembered the 2006 feeling a couple days ago. Amazingly, it made sense after putting both models under the microscope. The default standard chassis on the '06 is set at spring rates of 6.23/8.39 F/R, and the weight distribution is 47/53 F/R.  The '05 unit compares at 5.75/8.92 springs and a weight dist. of 44/56. Everything else is identical between the two cars, but you may have noticed the 2006 is calculated at 3 less PP at 575. Interesting. Or maybe not.

This car was way more fun than I'd anticipated. Only practiced one lap and then ran clean on L2, so I'm sure there's a few more seconds in it. I just wasn't in the mood to risk tanking it and having to start over.

Ran a few more this evening.  Enzo was a lot harder to drive than the McLaren.  Seemed to have much less traction and the front end was very jumpy.  Much prefer the slower cars on these tires, at least for my driving style.  Scion FR-S I feel the same way in the game as I do in real life, no power at all.  Good handling car but just so slow.  The grip of the SH tires on that car almost seem like overkill.

I'd say that's highly interesting. I had noticed they recycled the Premium modeling of the '06 onto the (formerly standard) '05, but hadn't looked at (ie bought) the cars. Incidentally they have also fully recycle-premiumized a couple of the Evo VIs, the Veyron, and maybe a couple others.

I wonder if you can still see the 4.2 V8 engine cover through the glass on the R8 V10.

Did you know that at 631PP, on RH tires (the limits for the final 15th Anniversary sleasonal) a fully modified street Viper is faster than both a R8 LMS and a GT3 spec Nismo GT-R? The Gold time at Spa is 2:15. The race cars were off by over 7 seconds. The Vette missed by 3. The Viper golded the run on the second lap (by .05). Everyone else is using the R18. Suckers.

Should be up to date.

Someone on Opposite Lock asked if the LCC Rocket was allowed. I looked in to is as best I can and I believe it meets the standards. I can't find anything that proves one way or the other whether or not the cars actually made it in to the hands of paying customers, but it seems as though it did. I'll allow it.

Is the Amuse Nismo 380RS a legal car. ( my guess is no but still hopeful)? We ran this car bone-stock in MasterGT's Monday Night Races this week, and it was freakin' brilliant in completely stock form/tires.

Just like the Boss Mustang, I ran 1 practice lap followed by a clean, solid but unspectacular lap for comparison's sake. Cool car, but seems like a PP overcalculation at 565 when you consider the Ford GT's are only 10PP more. You'd never touch a 2005 or 6 GT with one of these.
