Well, NASCAR's back to nobody fighting. Therefore boring, therefore memories from home:

I think the MX-5 looks fucking terrible, and I am not going to say what I immediately thought when I saw the big stupid grin on it's mouth and gaping... exhaust pipe...

but ... the Alfa...

The Alfa...

Well there goes my whole night... rFactor might have some decent physics (debatable, but some people seem to quite like it) but it sure doesn't look like it in those videos... Suspect

How can that 'ND' Mazda look so weirdo when the new 6 looks so fantastic?

Also disregard Alfa, acquire reliability.

As for rF2, I'll treat it like pCars, and basically wait until it's not beta.

I did purchase rF2 last night. I decided that having once been wrong about iRacing should have taught me that we should be more open to new sims. Still in beta, looks damn pretty though (Not sure why other people don't think so) and I've heard great things about the FFB and feeling. Mostly, it's a chance to drive some 60s style cars around some old circuits, GPL style.

Will report - seems good though. And I don't mind buying in to a sim early, as a genre it's not got a lot going on. I was much the same with flight sims. If you made a decent go at it, I'd likely have bought it. See: Rise of Flight, and that turned out amazing. Cool

iRacing is constantly developed, pCARS is in development with a target release this year, rF2 in purchasable beta, cash cows GT6 and FM5 can't be anything but on the way, and even LFS may not be entirely dead. This is about the most active the genre has been in a while.

Oh I agree, I'm pretty happy about it Smile I just have more money than sense I guess, I'm lucky like that. rFactor2 seems quite good from the 5 minutes I spent in it.
