I grew up on Schuey. The first time I recall watching a race on TV was Michael in the Benetton, winning somewhere. When I really got deep in to racing the Ferrari era was just beginning, so I really had no say in the matter.

I'll also always have a soft spot for Massa because of the way he lost the Championship to Lewis... at Interlagos of course. Interlagos? More like In-a-lagos, amirite?

I watched the race on TSN (BBC feed) and rewatched some of the Speed feed. I sure hope TSN continues to carry the BBC feed, although it was hilarious to hear Varsha fumble over 'nuckle huckleberg'

I think that the 91 McLaren in white and orange formed the entire idea in my head of what a racecar was supposed to look like. I didn't know any drivers (I was 8.) but I knew that that McLaren sure looked like it was supposed to win races. Played a lot of the old Accolade (I think?) Grand Prix game, always as the McLaren. When I got Grand Prix Legends, well, that's when I fell in love with that beautiful Lotus...

This. Brazilian drivers ftw. Pure personality and emotion. I hope his form continues in 2013 and he starts the year pushing / beating Alonso.

Watched the Sky post race, remembered why I hate Sky. Johnny Herbert, shut your whore mouth... Natalie Pinkham makes it all better though...

My early F1 memories are back when CBC had coverage of selected races, and showed them Sunday afternoons. Not sure if they did their own feed or just the Brit (Murray Walker) feed. Earliest one in the brain is pre-1990 but post-turbo-era. I was about two or three years into the habit waking up early for the live-on-TSN when Senna died in '94.

I was wrong, it was this game. It was Accolade, but looks like they were the 1989 cars. So. Many> Hours. Spent driving this game. And by driving, I mean furious keyboard tapping...
