I have to be honest - I really don't care for the fact that iRacing supports tilt / mouse / keyboard / controller steering. But, the problem is as a PC game, there's really no stopping someone from developing a driver which emulates or convinces that iRacing that there's a wheel installed, so I guess they might as well.

I know the wheels in other cars are fairly jerky looking when they come through the intertubes on replay, but that's just weird.

Also, just to let you in on it, there are no sims.

Everything that doesn't have every exact real detail of real racing simulated exactly correctly perfectly is just a game and can not be called a simulator unless a pro uses it to legitimately train for the real thing.
