Second of two events in the Audi. Once again, 3 laps (instead of usual 5) for pre-Q and live Q due to long course length. Race time settings should generate sunrise during live Q race to sunset at end of main race.

Oooo, ahhhhh
Tried a few laps when I got home. I didn't adjust the time (don't even know if you can) and by lap 3 you're in full dark...Just sayin

*Edit* Fwiw, don't look at the fireworks
*Edit* #2 G44, you can say Oooo, ahhhhh during the fireworks and then maybe I can pass you

Adjust time compression to 16, and set the start time to 4:50 to get the true feel for the race. After 1 hour of racing, the game will have moved the sun 16 hours worth, so you should end up at 8:50pm after 1 hour. You do this from the Track Settings menu down below where you selected the track.
I really, really, REALLY want to participate in this race.. maybe I will develop a sore throat

I did a 5'31.4 at full wet to set the lap count such that the total event fits in an hour (as we do here), hopefully you're quicker than that in the dry.
About to make a lounge if there isn't one somewhere.

The time progression of 16 from a 4:50 start leads to darkness falling about at scheduled race end. Bagged a Q run of 5'10.755, ran a few like it on both 0/0 and 1/0 brakes in the dry. That 1 front brake might be a bit much for the wet, couple places are really tricky (hint: brake lightly and straight). Ran a 5'31.0 at 100% wet.

Minor panic when I realised that there were two premium 3.2 TTs. Fortunately I had prepared the right one.
Q in. I'll be on after 8.

Clicking on 'Model' portion of Q form locks up PS3 browser. Will submit Q a bit later.

Even if you select a manufacturer first?

Well, I waited ~10 seconds (on second attempt) after picking my maufacturer, at no time does the "model" fill in. Clicking on the place for it locks 'er up.

Javascript is pretty terrible in PS3 browser.

Yeah, the Q form includes some AJAX library that I found somewhere and does a call to a servlet when you select a manufacturer to get the appropriate list of cars, I'm sure it's not handling the AJAX very well.
And apparently an empty <select> block locks it up. That's quality.

Just got done watching my replay, sorry rooster and clacksman, especially you rooster, messed up your race pretty good. All I can say is, total newb rookie mistake there and you two had to pay for it. I will try my hardest for that to never happen again. Thanks for the great racing guys, and Rack, nice win and thanks for hosting. Rooster, like I said, I owe ya, or if your in the back of the pack with me and you feel like just taking me out, do it, have fun doing it. I will totally understand.
