Welcome to the DriverSports March Cup. This series will be host to a Championship spanning 5 races over the next 5 weeks. Each driver will be awarded one 'drop' of their lowest score, meaning the championship will be scored by a driver's 4 best finishes.

This event is being run with the Tuning Prohibited restriction. The car must be completely unmodified and only the brake balance is adjustable. All aids including TCS and ABS are prohibited. See the Rulebook and Technical Regulations tab for full details.

A bit less entertaining than Autumn Ring but still fun; just a lot of long straights (and turns) with full throttle.
Car seems a bit too weak, it can't hold the speed in 4th gear after turn 1. The question of the week will be 'Can turn 1 be done full throttle?'

Trial Mountain Reverse has a spot like that too. There's some weird eccentricities on all these decade-old track designs.

But I practiced by myself this morning and banked a q-time of 1'40.682 (29.894 - 35.982 - 34.806).

yes, it can be done; but I feel more comfortable with a very light lift

Banked a Q run of 1'40.451 before people showed up. 1'40.080 with some practice and 1/0 brakes (instead of 2/0). Good splits are about 29.7 35.8 34.6 (watched monitor for a bit).

I did some more practice this morning and got into the 1'40.2s; so I started one more q-attempt: 1'40.201 (29.783 - 35.762 - 34.656)

Who can get under 1'40? Not me, I reached my limit

Couple practice races with Wall and Agent. No 1'39s but some 1'40.2s. First two laps on cold tires tough.

Finally got into the 140's (1:40.934). Gotta good tip from clacks about a downshift point that'll hopefully make it consistant. We ran a couple practice races and I was quite surprised how much draft we got. I also got a good visual of the point that you loose it lol. See ya tonight!

if you drive around me, you just might get some surprises. lol! wall can tell you about the last lap, last corner of one of the races. geez, i dont know what i was thinking that i could pass with a late dive to the inside. it was really ugly with grass dirt and smoke, but i surprised him!

The AppEngine service seems to be running dirt slow right now for some reason. If you get an error when you're using the Q form, try a few more times to get it to work...
