DriverSports Tin-Top Touring Challenge | Sunday March 11 | Cote D'Azur
Welcome to the DriverSports Tin-Top Touring Challenge. Race coordinators have identified 8 Premium RWD cars that were able to be built in a way that is verifiable by checking the redline, boost gauge readings and exhaust note and tip. The parts allowed are the best possible combination that will produce the indicated redline with the correct exhaust equipped, which means not only can the race marshals perform post race inspections by reviewing the replay, but so can anyone who has access to the replay file.
This series will be host to a Championship spanning 6 races over the next 6 weeks. Once entered in the series drivers must stay committed to one car. Each driver will be awarded one 'drop' of their lowest score, meaning the championship will be scored by a driver's 5 best finishes. Please note that this series makes use of DLC track content that you must purchase to be able to race on.

I got bored. I decided to make this video of qualifying. Why? I really don't know. Just got the urge to make a video of something.

I'm thinking it's a short pit lane on a track where you have no bonus room.
Should be on for some (much-needed) practice off and on tomorrow.

Tried to do a race length practice run, about 15 minutes after the Elise RMs started. Crashed on lap 10. I think that's the pitting I need to be concerned about.
41.8 best.
Those walls don't play nice.

I was in your lounge for a bit. Got to 41.2 but only once, extra time from the lapping not from tuning (found three things that made me slower).

Re: DriverSports Tin-Top Touring Challenge | Sunday March 11 | Cote D'Azur
Damn those flyweight RX-7s are good (can't be the drivers, no, not at all).
When tim didn't get a good Q lap, my chances for a podium grew quite a bit. Ran 3rd a while, almost got into the back of Rack a couple times on lap 1. Rack pitted before half, I didn't know if it was strategy or damage (it turned out it was strategy). I no pitted as did rsb, almost held on to the gift second but old tires just didn't have the grip to hold off a faster car on fresher tires. Good times.

Per request I put my tunes in GTdata.net.
One is good, the other is bad. Because I'm a moron I decided to create a new and untested setup for the race. I think I made it pretty clear which one is which.
