DriverSports Tin-Top Touring Challenge | Sunday March 18 | GP/F
Welcome to the DriverSports Tin-Top Touring Challenge. Race coordinators have identified 8 Premium RWD cars that were able to be built in a way that is verifiable by checking the redline, boost gauge readings and exhaust note and tip. The parts allowed are the best possible combination that will produce the indicated redline with the correct exhaust equipped, which means not only can the race marshals perform post race inspections by reviewing the replay, but so can anyone who has access to the replay file.
This series will be host to a Championship spanning 6 races over the next 6 weeks. Once entered in the series drivers must stay committed to one car. Each driver will be awarded one 'drop' of their lowest score, meaning the championship will be scored by a driver's 5 best finishes. Please note that this series makes use of DLC track content that you must purchase to be able to race on.

Early afternoon practice: 2'09.mid on a good lap in the TVR. No calculations made, but based on rear wear after 6 laps, I think I'll have to pit.
Re: DriverSports Tin-Top Touring Challenge | Sunday March 18 | GP/F
Provided the team owner cooperates and takes his scheduled 12:30 to 2:30 nap, I'll be in my lounge about 1 for a race distance run with no stops (to see how the car handles wear here, and confirm that I indeed need to pit).
Re: DriverSports Tin-Top Touring Challenge | Sunday March 18 | GP/F
Quick practice earlier today, 2'10.0 in free run but no q run done. That'll have to wait until after NAPCAR.

Pit ∆ is about 27 seconds, give or take a second.
First 9 were 27.4 seconds faster than the second 9 laps.
40 minutes for:
Race events will decide whether I pit or not.

My Replay
Great race and a win that surprised me. It's not exactly the ringer car, but it's damn hard to pass if I don't screw up. Best series ever.

Some pics:
Bouncing through the chicane (TVR does not like to bounce)
Streaming through Schumacher
This is why they make it difficult to take shots of the pit stops.
Clacksman out strategised the pit stop shuffle
Retaking the lead, but a blanket over us after 2/3 distance.

First two times behind you there I thought you just blew it a bit. Third time through I figured out you were avoiding the curbs.

With robiker barely behind the pack there was no track traffic to fall into and it's always good to get an open pit lane. Lap 5 or 6 ish you were starting to hold me up a bit midcorner making drafting you closer to a wash.

I thought about covering your strategy by coming in the very next lap, but I held out one more. That was almost a costly mistake since everybody seemed to come in that lap, and the lollipop men seemed to make getting into the pit stalls quite slow. I was lucky to pull you back in, since I was 2.5 seconds back by the time I got my tires hot. Fortunately you screwed up on laps that I didn't - also plastic TVR tires don't drop off in performance until lap 8.
