600pp Race cars (no RMs though) on R-h at the Nordschleife
https://us.gran-turismo.com/us/gt5/event/d6289.html

700pp cars on any tire at Spa-Francorchamps
https://us.gran-turismo.com/us/gt5/event/d6290.html

Hard Mode challenge cars, extra points for 0 ABS if you can handle it.

600pp Nurburgring Nordschliefe - CR-Z TC vs. Prius TC - R-h tire, stock engine (both have engine stage 2 stock, no turbo on CR-Z), all adjustments allowed.

700pp Spa-Francorchamps - Mazda Furai Concept - R-h tire, stock engine (no turbo), all adjustments allowed.

In stock condition, 600 pp is where most premium SGT-GT500 cars wind up, and the Schulze GT-R (ring appropriate, possibly). Maxed out you can consider the GT300 cars, some rally cars, the Motor Sport Elise (don't know if GT considers that eligible) and the old DTMs (maxing out a down 580 and lower).

Maxed out near 700 are a bunch of GT1 and GTS cars. Stock list near 700 doesn't look a lot different, except NASCAR and the Audi R10.

The ~530pp race car I initially tried will easily arrive nearly a minute early compared to gold time, so I found a couple mid-400s pp race cars for there to make it somewhat challenging. I didn't check to see if RMs are really actually banned or not.
For the 700 it allows R-s tires so even just using R-h is quite a challenge-adder. Hopefully people have these cars, if not hurrah for sharing stuff.

Check this:
700pp Spa - Mazda Furai Concept - R-h tire, stock engine (no turbo), all adjustments allowed.
600pp Nurb - CR-Z TC vs. Prius TC - R-h tire, stock engine (both have engine stage 2 stock, no turbo on CR-Z), all adjustments allowed.

Note that seasonals don't apply wear so they won't break in at all via running this. Bonus points edition: use 0 ABS

Had to break in the Prius, but I shouldn't have bothered.
Did less than 1/2 a lap with it. Muting the sound made it more tolerable.
Got gold with the CR-Z, even though the battery was dead after six minutes.

I broke in the Prius too, it didn't appear to use any fuel circulating Indy. Will put my initial times in shortly.

I noted this when I broke mine in too. Not sure if it continues to be bugged in online races (food for thought if we ever think to use it in an event with fuel consumption and tire wear).

In one of the updates, they changed it so that electric and hybrid cars get a fresh battery in pit stops.

Your Furai event on GTData has "Tires: No Restrictions Specified", should be R-h

I think this is different to not using any battery during the stints at all though, which is what I noted pre update.

The Prius TC used to accelerate at 0% throttle without using battery or fuel too.

You must leave your right foot on the go pedal. I did one lap doing some coasting instead of braking to keep the battery charged up for the final straight, and just barely beat my earlier time. Then I flogged the car hard with no particular care for battery and had 2 bars showing when I got to the final straight. It changed to 1 bar going by the tollbooth entry and was still helping at the end of the 7 1/2 minute lap.

Tune in GTData.

Hat in the ring with the Prius. Battery gives out somewhere in the last sector of the second lap. So, if you're off the pace on lap one, ease off a bit and do some recharging at the end of the lap to put enough watts away to go flat out on the 2nd lap.

Interesting it has about double the battery life of the CR-Z.

Breaking in the Furai at Indy. Surprised that it's not dead last, with the stage 3 turbo.

Two full laps in the Prius. A nearer-full battery is more helpful than a half-dead battery based on comparing to my CR-Z ghost in the first couple sectors.

Eh ...... ignore the 6.379 Furai lap that's on the in-game board, I cut the apex of some lefthander. Next best is a 08.x but I'm gonna take another stab. Updated tune in GTData.

Furai has proven to be a bit challenging. My best lap probably an '10.XXX right up until I spun and ended up going over the finish line basically backwards... Sad

Will return to work on it this evening.
