Thoughts?
R8 5.2 and maxed out 2005 Mini (maxes at 497pp and has appropriate Britishness - sort of)?
Also, seems a good time to try out the new "events" in GTData for this. I'll post up a submission link and results iframe in the OP once we decide on cars.
Re: Seasonal Time Trial #33 - April 4-April 18
I lean toward the C63 for the German car one (because V8), '05 Mini sounds good for the 500pp London.

Ok here we go, not incredibly difficult to gold with these Premium cars.
560pp German cars DeepForest on S-h - Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG at stock weight (1730kg) and no engine stage upgrades - 550+hp and 540+pp with rear wing turned up.
500pp cars at London on C-s - Mini '05 (no restrictions).

OP changed with leaderboards and links to submit a lap time via GTData. Let's see how this works
Re: Seasonal Time Trial #33 - April 4-April 18
Also note. You don't need a GTData account to submit a time. But if do, you can add your tune, if you so wish to your time and publically share it.
Additional times you submit will be added to the results, and will not update previous times you submitted.
Also, those "room settings" settings aren't really relevant, since I haven't figured out how to deal with describing these seasonal events.

In with dummy tune as I've only done 2 laps at each.

If you post your time in there (GTData=my baby) it will record your time and show up in the OP. Clacskman and Agent have done this so far. You can also post your time, comment etc in the thread, as always.

Well, being 0.5 seconds behind Clacksman felt pretty good. Then he put in a 1'23.2...
So... there goes that!

Just checking: I put all the parts on the car that would fit without adding Engine Stages or Turbo, and put the big rear wing on. Amidoingthisrite? It's not broken in, fresh from the dealer, and oooh she's purdy.
Also: Toonz?

Yes.
Also: tomorrow, if I do it now it'll be all screwed up judging by the other posts I've made in the last few minutes

In your opinion, how's my line through this corner?
Re: Seasonal Time Trial #33 - April 4-April 18
On the board, including a tune.
The tune posted isn't the exact tune I used for the time, but it's what I had on the car at the end of my ~1.5hr session, and it felt really good. I was getting consistent low 1:21s, and I know I could beat that time with it if I did more laps.
This car is a b@#$% to tune... It has horrendous oversteer issues under power when you go over any little crest, but it has horrible mid-corner understeer. I tried all the tricks I know trying to get it to be more consistent mid-corner while also removing some of the power oversteer, but I was not nearly as successful as I wanted to be.
I'm interested to hear what you guys think about the tune, make sure to post your thoughts if you try it out.

i see racks tune has weight reduction. i didnt do that as clacksmans post says stock weight 1730. that means i was carrying around a few dead bodies. thats acceptable in a mercedes, right?
will wait for decision before trying again, but excited to try rack-tranny.

Yeah I posted full weight and no engine stages so it doesn't turn into a ballast/limiter deal. Tune should still work.

Oh, I missed that when I updated the OP. I just said "configure the car however you like". Change that, mark non-stock times as such?
