This YT channel always has some interesting stuff up. Watching the Cat II machinery attack the high speed esses was a great way to start my day

You too G44.
I want to get this thing rolling again, so I think I'm going to resurrect the GPCC Time Trial event at the PS forum. Stay tuned.

Photo mode is getting more realistic every day.

I've taken to playing GT-IRL!
Been a long time, sorry to have dropped off the face of the earth. My first car, the 318i convertible (beige) was totaled a few months back after an accident involving a semi-truck and an unsecured load.
Thankfully, it didn't take me long to find this one in green - 1992, 325i, M20 engine, only 98,000 miles on it when I bought her, heated/electric everything and precisely the right color for my car. I traded the title to my 318i to a mechanic friend of mine for some shop hours, and a couple of weekends ago, we replaced everything from the wheels up - lower control arms, bushings, shocks, brakes, strut mounts, and timing belt/water pump. It drives like a new car!
Next up will have to be some power upgrades... thankfully exhaust upgrades don't cost 20,000 in real money.
It's become a disease...

I know you're probably not in the market for power adders Mr. F, but oh, that exhaust note.

I'm back on iRacing.
Got my PC fixed. Spent a week tooling around in the Skippy, the Mustang and the Ruf GT3, wrecked somehow in every race my first week, including my first attempt at the Roar before the 24 in the Mustang. Then, yesterday morning I won the Mustang class, third split. Woot!
There's a lot more positive grip than I remember, the servers seem to be a little more populated, and the Nürburgring and La Sarthe are gorgeous. The racing line rubbers up and marbles build up, and it seems like most of it works fairly well.

Was talking with Rooster the other day and he mentioned a DSO sighting. Still need to design/build/buy a new rig, but I have at least settled into the new home. One step at a time I guess.
I'm glad iR has continued to improve their content without totally breaking everything. Interesting about the seeming change in grip too. I'll need all the help I can get when get back to running.
