Very good document by Troy Schultz, written up about how to use iSpeed to analyze your laptimes and improve your performance.

For what it's worth, I purchased a license for iSpeed. Far less intimidating than the McLaren tool and basically has all the important data. It was worth it for me to hand over my $20 to the Developers. Donations over that value rid the software of the ad banner. As ad banners go, it's small and not annoying, but it's good software so...
