Re: Seasonal Time Trial #33 - April 4-April 18
did a few laps in the C 63 last night with clacksman's aka Rack's tune. Ended up with 1'23.923 but I know there is more for me; I just ran out of (play-)time.
And the other excuse is that due to low mileage my car is 4 PP short
EDIT:
1'23.435 now

Got a chance to run the C63 for 30 minutes. I never really ran this course in anger, so I'm not confident on my line here. The tricky down hill double apex before the big down hill run, the right hander into the second tunnel and the combination before the first tunnel; all of these I feel like I could approach a couple of different ways, and I'm not sure what works best. Still, a good start with a 23.0 on a lap with some bad corners (clacksman's tune).

I'm pretty good here but the car is too heavy to take my usual line through the places you've mentioned, so I'm not sure how much time can be found with different approaches.

1'22.315 in the Mercedes. More time to be had, to be sure, but not a bad run, and probably as good as I'll bother to do. +1 rack's tune

I sent my C63 to Laguna Seca just now to find the last missing hp. I'd like to get into the 1'22s before this is over.

didn't quite reach that goal yesterday, but 1'23.106 is still an improvement

I couldn't find the will to be interested enough about London.

I did one last stab in the Mini, improved the time shown online but it let me off with a couple wall slaps.
