vkaifh - looked at the replay of lap 6 at the hairpin. if anyones foul it was mine. i should have given you the room on entry and shouldnt have crowded the line behind rack. i got what i deserved in muddy fenders and loss of lead draft. up to that point it had been pretty intense so i was still going at it hard. my bad and glad it wasnt worse. you made rack work for it after that, so good job! heehee
on another note. really enjoyed this race and series. laps 4, 5 and 6 were awesome for me and then trying to keep a gap on group really had me concentrating. loved the door to door action and your all excellent gentleman drivers that try really hard to race, and not wreck each other. very refreshing.
congrats rack. well done

Thanks AgentWD40_FL, I always feel guilty when something behind me happens. But I certainly will watch the replay too; just to make sure that you're not just saying that to make me feel good
Very intense race, especially when we had 4 cars fighting for it. Too bad clacksman lost connection, it would have been a real nail biter for the championship.
I was trying hard to get my first win; but finishing 2nd only 0.4s behind Rack isn't that bad either. I wanted to be in the lead in the last lap because passing before the finish line isn't easy. But somehow it didn't work out so I chased Rack to get as good as possible behind him before the last turn. I knew a win still was possible and at least I could make it super close. But when it counted the most I screwed up the last turn the most and was way too far behind Rack, I believe I wouldn't have even passed him at the end of the straight in that lap.
Congratulations Rack for winning the race and the championship.

Congrats on the Championship win Rack! That's probably a little hollow considering the circumstances, but nice driving all around and a great series, if I do say so myself.

Yeah, hollow indeed. I had done the math before vk posted it, I knew that I had to beat clacksman, or he had to screw up. He definitely had the pace on me, but it's basically impossible to escape the draft so I knew I still had a chance. When he disappeared in the tunnel right in front of me, I yelled "nooooooooo, clacksman!!!" at my TV...
Fun series though, looking forward to the next Friday night series, as it's the only night we race that I can regularly attend.

Congrats Rack, good win. I'm sure you would have rather had it go to the wire.
Great job by VK stickin with ya. And also, great job by Agent, a recent addition to DSO who fit right in from the start.
I really enjoyed this series. Learned a lot, had my best race ever at SSR5-R, and had some good position battles along the way. Really looking forward to the next one like Rack said, cuz it's my only real night for racine.

I enjoyed this series also a lot. I like the lower speed, the no-tuning and Fridays fit my schedule perfectly.
Well, it certainly could be a faster car than the March but I just made up my personal rule: if the car/event requires racing tires it's most likely too fast for me

It would be quite difficult to be slower.

any chance of announcing the first track for the Lotus series? I'm going on my next business trip soon and would like to get some laps in before leaving.
Thanks in advance

We're still arguing about tracks. Madrid or Tsukuba to start.
