I had fun driving around finding spots to take pictures. It was about 35 degrees all day (that's 174 F), so it was a bit laborious, but all in all it took about as long as it would have in GT5 photomode because, you know, load screens and whatnot. Razz

I ... think your math from 35C (degrees Canadian) to foreignheat is a bit off ...

Converting this thread for general my car use.

Thinking of white wheels. Also thinking of whiting out the black plastics all around the car. 2nd step is pretty dramatic though. In the meantime I might accent the 86 boxer badge on the fenders with white paint like some have done with red to match the JDM badge.

I want to see that Supra style tail on your FR-S... Which is really I guess a question about how much time I want to spend in Photoshop.

This is the TRD Nür Spec wing. Close enough to not sure if want.

The wing you have fitted looks great Stephen, subtle but effective. The Supra or TRD versions are a bit over the top for me although the TRD wing on my Supra looked great when I owned it. I should get some pictures up at some point.

Not sure about white wheels, maybe a bronze would work well depending on other accent colours?  Looking forward to seeing it evolve Smile

Thanks!

clacksman mentioned functioning the fender 'vents'... someone's done it

Says engine temp is conistently 8-13 degrees cooler (with the prova appliques over the holes of course)

Neat.  I still like the look of the TRD carbonfiber fender fins better, too bad they're not a vent.

Not sure if want the huge-vent front fenders on this one.

LOOOOUVRES! You know, you could modify or build fender wings with some venting that aims to flow air out from under the hood and on to the top of the winglets.

Edmunds had a little brake overheating issue with their Project 86 on a track day so maybe someone will figure some brake cooling that is routed through there.

Thanks. It sure is. We've been having a typical Kamloops summer too (actually was the driest July on record), scorching hot, blue skies and long days. I find it hard to argue with BC's provincial tourism slogan "The Best Place On Earth" Very Happy

Laughing you just want to hug that 2000GT.

Definitely prefer the look of the wing you have on there versus the over the top ones. Gives completeness to the body shape, in my opinion, that without it, the GT-B(F)R-Z(S)-86 lacks.

Do not care for the wheels on that TRD... scratch

The top of the winglets would be high pressure, you won't get flow out of the engine bay that way.  Brake cooling air exits the wheels, the key to that is getting some into there moar betterer with ducting from the front.
