1st race was a blast! Mr. Revengel, a gentleman as always. Screenshots posted in the Media Center in the form of a slide show, with captions. Enjoy!

2nd race didn't happen... Ok, maybe the first 12 laps...

Race 1: Started midpack, and was in the back of the lead conga line for about half the race. Real tough to pass when the guy in front of you has some draft. When group finally stopped leading there was a major shuffle and I got to the lead, from there Rooster just couldn't quite generate a good enough run.

Race 2: Another midpack start (lol live Q, my ~1'11.8 pole times put me in the hosts spot both races), this time the conga line didn't run half the race. Got to second behind Rooster quickly, and the other four guys 3-6 looked to have quite the race behind us.
With about 10 to go, us leaders almost had a huge wreck. I thought I had leaned on Rooster, he thought he had just almost lost it. Either way it cost us some time compared to 3rd+. Having to brake meant there was a small gap from me up to Rooster, made it up over the next few laps, made a pass, and again it stuck as Rooster couldn't quite generate a good enough run to get back by.

I thought the first Official Race went well. Until I hit the wall after the first hairpin in lap 13 lol. I was staying with HW pretty well I thought and kept pushin a bit harder every lap with good results. Came out of that turn and was just a smidge too heavy on the throttle and she broke loose and nosed into the tires on the left. And with the damage set to heavy, that was pretty much it for the race. I did a complete spinout a few laps later trying to keep from being lapped. I think TT just clipped me as I came accross the track. Sorry about that man, no control at that point. I was pretty happy though for not racing innabout 3 weeks. Definitely gotta keep that damage in mind. Good race and glad we're under way.

Ya think? Don't normally run Sundays, and it's been a busy last few days so not a lot of time to prep. Like I said though, I was doing okay with a "mostly broken in car". But I'm sure practice would have helped. Prolly would have come across that situation then as opposed to during the race. So I guess in a round about way, I just said "hey C, yer right"

Quick note on live Q. Got pole first race, thought I stole clacksman's spot due to hosting. Can't say I minded, created quite an interesting race for me Second race managed to nab a 12.0 (wait, wat?!) that showed me P2 on my screen, ended up starting P4 or P5. Don't quite get that since it seemed to be working in the practice room. Shakes fist in PD's direction.

Random practice race snap from last week sometime at Tsukuba.

Tonight, end of 10-lap practice race. Me (Chaste white with Winning Blue wheels) and robiker (that purple I can't remember the name of with red wheels) were side-by-side from top of hill entering the corkscrew to here. My screen showed win by 0.003, also group keeping us honest again.

A bit more practice for me and a couple others over the last couple nights. I should be able to Q under 1'53 and run both races.

Might need a new car. Went to do an oil change after a short race with C and G and milage had not increased. It did seem that I had more miles even before that, I just figured I was off on where I thought I was. Any reason why no change in distance?

I'm at 121 hp now. Don't know if that's enough to worry about.

wall, on the practice race you did, did you finish the race before the race end timer? If the timer is set low, and you finish in last but don't get to the finish line before the race end delay timer finishes the count down, you will not gain miles on your car. It's a huge pain, and extremely frustrating at times, but yeah that can happen.
