'bout That Action Boss 302 Battle | Friday Nights

Friday nights we'll be hosting a casual racing series for select unmodified street cars. Tracks will reflect the character and history of the car in use, which will change every few weeks. Driving aids will be eligible when appropriate and tires will be selected to balance driving skill and close racing. Short races, roughly 20 minutes long, will begin at 8:00pm Eastern and run until at least 10:30pm. These events will be run under the Tuning Prohibited settings, which does allow for some adjustment and maintenance. 


Race Lobbies will open at 8:00pm Eastern. The first qualifier will launch at 8:15pm and each subsequent qualifying session and race will start after a 5 minute break. Should the lobby reach 16 drivers we will divide the room by the previous race results, or by holding a qualifying session (racers will have to exit before the race begins), with the bottom half departing to form a second room. Races will be open to anyone who has read this post, but you must be on the PSN friends list of the host before the lobby is created.

To kick off this event will take a page from Marshawn Lynch, aka Beast Mode.

We're just 'bout that action too, so we're rolling out the Boss 302, a car that likes to run in a straight line and has plenty of weight to throw around. We've given it some grippy cleats with SM tires and ABS brakes, but steer clear of those Performance Enchancers as this is a Tuning Prohibited event. Homefield advantage is huge. The turf we're running on will be familiar to the veteran beast mode muscle car, but don't tear it up too much as TCS is prohibited.
